This movie is the perfect example of "just because it's true, doesn't make it interesting".  The 13th Warrior is excruciatingly boring.  You can talk all day long about the factual evidence that supports the goings-ons, or maybe you like the many, many Excaliber style battles.  Whatever.  I had to go to a chiropractor the next day, because I thought I slipped a vertebrae from all the nodding off.

I'm surprised that this dreck came from Michael Crighton's book, and John McTiernan's direction.  Both gentlemen are normally associated with high quality work.  I'm guessing somebody got a big payday from this movie.

There's lots of money on the screen.  Apparently, the producers didn't meet an expense they didn't like.  So at least everything looks all very nice and good.
