I liked this film right from the start. The opening credits are whimsical and fun, with good music backing them up. The clip from To Tell the Truth with DiCaprio added digitally is fun to watch too. The tone is set right away for a light-hearted good time at the movies.
DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors. He may not be the best actor technically, I just enjoy his performances. I probably would have not watched The Beach if he hadn't been in it. In Catch Me If You Can he just seems like he's having a good time inhabiting the role of con man. Tom Hanks appears to be having an equal amount of fun as well. Everything about the film has a light touch and is entertaining to watch.

I love when Abagnale takes over class at his new school. It's one of the best movie scenes in 2002.

"Jennifer Garner ... not that hot."
