There's a lot of neat stuff to look at, but I don't fully buy into the story. Essentially this is meant to be a thriller, but did I feel any suspense? Not for a second. And even though the territory is relatively new, it's somehow predictable, and at times silly (am I really supposed to believe Lopez could lock herself in that chamber, allowing no way for the others to get in?). Any comparisons to The Silence of the Lambs are way off base.
The visuals are very nice, however; and the killer (D'Onofrio) is an interesting character, albeit the only character that gets any attention from the screenwriter. I would like to have seen this movie with more fleshed out characters and more suspenseful sequences -- it could have been really, really good.

A terrific scene where Vince Vaughn's intestine is twisted on a spit. Jennifer Lopez's ass (as usual). A new technique for simulating weightlessness.
NinjaOfStealth says:
"Killer is very un-ninja-like. He masturbates a lot."
