If you don't know what this film is all about, then you're probably not much of a movie fan. Right from the opening sequence where a gun seemingly jumps off the floor and into Guy Pearce's hand, I knew I liked this movie. It's something of an instant classic, it'll be used in film classes as an example of how to tweak the narrative, DVD obsessive types will be watching it backwards and forwards and sideways until their eyes explode. Me? I just like its unique style. When it comes down to it, Memento is a fairly standard noir story, but the plotting is so well-done, each individual scene takes on it's own life, which makes this film a refreshing stand-out among its peers.

There's too many things to watch for in this "puzzle movie", just sit back and enjoy the ride.

"So, how would this guy be able to remember he has amnesia?"
