It's always a good idea to try to come up with the next Animal House; Old School tries and fails. I read that the director envisioned it as a comedy version of Fight Club; ummm, sorry Todd Phillips. Goal not attained.
The saddest part is that the cast is very good and very underutilized. I love Vince Vaughn, he can be hilarious. Luke Wilson is a good choice to cast as the straight man, it worked well in Blue Streak. Will Ferrell is a very funny man, but not so funny in this movie. What happened? Great cast, shitty script, I guess.
For the record, nudity and streaking can be funny, but not when there's no good context and the outcome is predictable. Nudity by itself isn't funny, nudity in the right situation is funny.
You're not missing anything if you skip this movie.
