Inspired by a lawsuit filed against McDonald's by two girls claiming the food made them obese, Morgan Spurlock decided to eat only food from McDonald's for 30 days to see what effect it might have on his health. Super Size Me is the resulting documentation of that experiment.
You can probably guess what happened. It doesn't take a genius to know that eating nothing but McDonald's just ain't healthy. Throughout the 30 day ordeal, Spurlock travels the country and interviews various people, like the man who eats 3 big macs a day, and examines other interesting food practices, like school lunches. Topics which can also be found in books like Fast Food Nation. Spurlock even pulls a trick out of Michael Moore's bag in his attempts to get the CEO of McDonald's in an interview.
The funniest scene I've seen in film this year is in Super Size Me. On the second day of his McDiet, Spurlock ordered a super-sized meal and managed to force it all down his gullet. His description of his physical reaction included the McGurgles, the McBrick, the McGas, and the arm McTwitch. Then he puked out the window of his car. That shit was too funny, crocoWife and I were dying.

On the DVD, check out the bonus segment named "The Smoking Fry". You'll never want to eat McDonald's french fries again.
